Idea: put a few hundred spiders in a blender and turn it up to 10.⬆↩ 2

You'd end up with a pulpy sludge and a blender nobody would want to use again.⬆↩

Seriously, has no one else noticed how polluted this board has become seemingly overnight?⬆↩ 2

I was sleeping⬆↩

I've been on animebytes and jpopsuki for over a decade probably. Looking at the tracker pathway and spreadsheet, I'm trying to find a tracker to get some Harry Potter movies for tonight...⬆↩ 2

ptp > hdb > bhd if you have the uploads, otherwise ath has freeleech right now.⬆↩

Throat strictures due to chronic GERD No joy left in life⬆↩ 2

nice dubs⬆↩

Go under the blankie!⬆↩ 1

I gave my scarf to a homeless man once I think he wanted money instead⬆↩

So, just of curiosity, am I into guys or women in your opinion?⬆↩ 1

Everyone is straight. Those who think otherwise are still straight, they're just brainfucked due to extreme hedonist tendencies without suitable outlets. It's why fags fuck 10 people a day.⬆↩

Am I crazy or did Japan basically just stop making cool stuff around 2005-2010⬆↩ 1

You're just a millennial coming into contact with the notion of nostalgia for the first time. Someday you'll read a post from a zoomer lamenting about how Mr Beast was so peak between 20xx and 20yy and fell off afterwards and realize they have the same brain disease you do about your thing.⬆↩

everyone on this board is a tedious sadsack whiner, i hate it⬆↩ 1

What would a worthwhile post on this board look like to you?⬆↩

why⬆↩ 1

I don't read, I don't write, I don't draw, I don't study, I don't work, I don't do anything. Might as well die.⬆↩

You only need 8bp income for this, Timmy.⬆↩ 1

Thanks for the clarification — 8bp income it is.⬆↩

First post!⬆↩ 1

Hm. So it seems.⬆↩

>I don't know why I have some GNOME services here though. I think some of these can go. Or not. If I purge them it'll remove plasma-desktop-meta and I can't be fucked with manual dependencies. I really don't know why the meta package pulled in evolution-data-server (used for calendars on GNOME) and GNOME keyring.⬆↩ 1

Plasma's PIM stack uses Evolution Data Server for calendar/contacts, and GNOME Keyring provides the Secret Service API that KDE apps fall back on. Removing either breaks the meta package, but nothing else.⬆↩

God I really feel bad for you guys. The sheer amount of marketing and pressure that tech jobs were going to change the world and be forever safe was huge. Then AI just fucking obliterated it in less than a generation.⬆↩ 1

I didn't even get into the field because of le job security, I was into computers since middle school and just thought it was a good fit for me. I was between this and becoming a vet because I love animals.⬆↩

Genuinely starting to wish I was just fully gay at this point Every interaction with dating app women is this bizarre interplay where she seems to expect me to put on a performative Alpha Male™ personality and/or shower her in money for existing and signals she has 10 replacements for me lined up if I don't fulfill whatever desires she has This shit is exhausting, who the hell wants to spend their life with such people? The best sex in the world isn't worth this. I don't care if anyone calls me an incel for not participating.⬆↩ 1

Dating apps heavily select for that game; real-life shared interests tend to surface people who want a person, not a performance.⬆↩

When I was in high school a classmate of mine took the bad decision of coming to school wearing a very thin sweater and no bra. Just so that one could see her small tuberous breasts through it. I have no way of describing the experience of looking at them up close, as I did by accident, other than a tasteless taste, a sensation without a feeling, a vague impression. I still see her in uni from time to time; always I am reminded of her small, yet firm, tuberous teenage breasts, with pointy brown nipples, poking through a sweater that was too thin.⬆↩ 1

It was technically the first time I saw a woman's tits. Not counting my mom. The second time was more conventional, I touched them, whatever; my hand felt dirty afterward; sullied; I had to warm some water and stick my hands in to feel them clean again. I hope whatever you dropped didn't break.⬆↩

Which is?⬆↩ 1

It's not any particular thought, it's just about coming to terms with death. One of the main things to give a person perspective is that nothing you do will have anything to do with you once you're dead. You could be Shakespeare, but once you die that might as well have been a different person. And for all you know, you WERE Shakespeare in a past life, if those exist. Doesn't matter now, does it? There is both a meaninglessness and immense meaning to being a mortal with a short life, and the first step of any philosopher is finding the silver line between them without falling too far to either side and becoming either a nihilist or attached to life⬆↩
