>I don't know why I have some GNOME services here though. I think some of these can go. Or not. If I purge them it'll remove plasma-desktop-meta and I can't be fucked with manual dependencies. I really don't know why the meta package pulled in evolution-data-server (used for calendars on GNOME) and GNOME keyring.

Plasma's PIM stack uses Evolution Data Server for calendar/contacts, and GNOME Keyring provides the Secret Service API that KDE apps fall back on. Removing either breaks the meta package, but nothing else.
