>UWAA... is this made by a real manga artist or AI? The actual thing that would happen if it really looked like art is that it would blend with the rest of the fanart that gets posted all the time, falling to bring any attention to itself, and much less to the model. Does posting a "real artist" picture makes everyone stop what they're doing to talk about it? That never happens. To most people, this wouldn't matter, because they're doing it for themselves. But NAI has a subscription to sell and blending with the noise doesn't help. That's what shills are hired to prevent. They come over and say "is this NAI?" to bring attention to a gen. Then they samefag a bit complimenting it and then ask "is it worth it?" and then they samefag a bit more to say "of course". None of that is real. It's pretty systematic if you watch /v/. Same problem on Twitter. Now people that are actually smart solved this by giving the model its own style, or some kind of fingerprint. That's why you can tell how often people use ChatGPT at a glance, which is a good thing for the company. NAI is just coping with spam and trolling because it's the only way they can bring attention to themselves.⏱ 5d↩ 1
