>Count Arses Tytania, the younger brother of Zarlisch Tytania, was 23 years old, with sapphire hair, pale turquoise eyes, and skin as white as chalk. The word β€œmelancholy” seemed written on his face in invisible ink. >Fan Hyulick had averted his gaze towards a statue. It was carved from Ementhal marble and depicted two figures embracing. Sensing that something was amiss, Fan Hyulick observed the statue one more. Once he realised what the source of his unease was, he grew gloomy. The two figures embracing were both male. So, what I figure happened was that when this novel was written in the 80s, the outcast villain was gay, but when anime was adapted in late 00s, they thought making villainous gay guy would be controversial so they "modernized" it by making him tranny instead.
