Microsoftie here. My group didn't get the buyout offers. Everyone is dooming on blind that they are just going to fire 60k if 60k don't take the buyout, but the buyout is a really shitty offer, way worse than a severance would be UNLESS you have been at the company for a long time. I think this is just a way to target old people without violating any laws, and they only expect 5k people to take it⏱ 1w↩
