fucks sake spent an hour and a shameful amount of money arguing with Claude about the geometry of my woodworking project turns out that when I said "curve" it decided all on its own and for no reason that it HAS to be a circular arc, which ended up imposing constraints that made the rest of the geometry not work, and it was just spinning in circles trying to reinterpret things to get it to work and throwing the resulting nonsense at me. with that completely baseless assumption out of the way, everything works AI really is just awful at spatial reasoning and geometry, I ask its opinion to make sure I'm not missing anything obvious and ot ends up with shit like this⏱ 4d↩
