If neutrons need to a stable nucleus with protonts to exist and can not exist by themselves and decay with a half life of 15 minutes, how do neutron stars exist? When a neutron decays it creates a proton, electron and electron antineutrino, so when a supernova creates the core that becomes a neutron star and the compression forces the electrons and protons together where does the supply of electron antineutrinos come from to create the neutron? Asking for a friend.
