I am worldbuilding a technocratic future dystopia. The villain wants to create an AI God and AI Afterlife, calls it the singularity, and he enslaves peopleβs souls inside a fake digital world. But in order to manufacture their consent, he has a well-oiled propaganda machine, shilling this false Heaven as a wonderful digital paradise. Well, Iβve never written sci-fi before. I wonder if this idea was done well by someone else.
