+⧖You're preaching to the choir babe, but to be fair, in this situation Polo, being a fan of Aquinas, is trying to map the thomistic hierarchy towards God unto the human consciousness. I'm sure he would argue that "Harmony of your material and intellectual powers" can only be achieved through aligning yourself with your transcendent existence. 𓀐 @Ut6V-+-g: Hello philosophy-sama. I am a lowly post-modern existential faggot, am I just cooked?

>am I just cooked? Well... It doesnt bode well :/ But fret not dear one, for hope is ever abound. One line of reasoning to lure you out of this bottomless pit could be that your mind simply attaches meaning to the world around it, even the label "no-meaning" thrown around by the post-modern existential faggots has been attached meaning. However if you simply recall the days where you still were a child, with a mind yet untainted by the pollution around it, carefree and joyful, you will realize abandoning labels could be a first step towards a blossoming mind.

𓀐 @Bin8aakk: But meaning is relativistic in that context. I can ceed that there is ordinal meaning beyond what I know in what we share together, but there is no way I can ever understand anything beyond that. Even if truth exists, I dont think a mortal being can ever know it based on two limitations: they're stuck temporally, and they're stuck geographically. So, because meaning can shift over time as context changes, it cannot be known totally by something that wasnt around since the beginning, and since it can vary with distance, it cany be known by something in one place at once. I reconcile this aspirationally: I do good because I want to, and it's productive to the shared experience I can verify as being beyond my own subjectivity. I also function in a sort of continuous improvement model where I adapt new heuristics as they become applicable. But, as you can probably guess, it'd be nice to care about something for a real made up reason rather than because I'm spiteful due to the absence of a reason.+
