𓀐 @N+m5e2P?: Anyone been using deepseek-v4.1-flash-free on OpenCode? How is it? What kind of tasks does it complete honorably?+ 1

𓀐 @GLvAhj5p: 5 hour limits are annoying as shit on subs, and if deepseek is all you need why even bother. lemme guess you dump opussy on every menial task like most vibe normies.+

𓀐 @gc6Nx9ss: There’s strong evidence that many economic changes eliminate some existing jobs. There isn’t a general proof that most changes do, or that they reduce the total number of jobs. The distinction matters because “kills jobs” can mean two things: - Some jobs disappear. For example, agricultural machinery displaced farmworkers, and software has replaced certain clerical tasks. Research on industrial robots also found lower employment and wages in more exposed US local labor markets. shapingwork.mit.…+

𓀐 @=ejgBAW8: Ok, no more bullshit, be real with me anons. Do any of you actually sandbox their agents fully, or is that just a meme at this point? I've tried many different methods of doing it, including docker images, separate users, etc. but it's annoying, and it's extremely useful having it access the whole machine for things like configs and so on. Do you actually sandbox? Don't lie!+

𓀐 @7az6yzaS: Yes, exactly. Has it ever fucked up for you guys? Never had accidents, but I used to be super anal about giving it perms (these days I just use pi with full perms). It's of course a bit scary to think what it could do... Not really, it's the same thing. Also I had to create a small service to get sound notifications working when I was doing that, not great UX. And again, no access to your settings and stuff, I can't ask it to configure my herdr or anything else like that, which is massively use…+

𓀐 @?FnjBizu: anons, I ran out of claude usage at the start of the week, tried opencode but it barely gave me any usage and the free models weren't very good, for some reason it resets 2 days later now. and I tried a trial for codex but the usage rates for GPT models are so high. The same task that would barely take any usage out of Sonnet or Opus takes like 25-40% on Sol and Astra, sometimes even more. I'm getting vibe coding withdrawals. what to do+

𓀐 @jUMCrZfz: guys i'm having anxiety problems i need help they introduced agentic coding at work recently, i'm trying to learn how to use it well, but the thing is that i can review the code and check that it works etc but i don't feel that i own it, i can't explain why every line was made (don't know if that makes sense) it's only been like 3 weeks, but i don't feel like using it anymore my lead inspects every single line of code and asks the reasoning behind each, this is putting so much pressure to know…+
