It's been a few years since I read it, but it was one of my first modern \"adult\" fantasy novels. I remembered it being better. With all the emdashes and \"it's not x -- it's y\" in the book, if it came out today I'd start a witch hunt. I guess this book was in the training data. For the book being 500 pages, the side characters feel simplistic and made of cardboard; everyone has only a couple defining desires. I'd forgotten all the side characters except Breeze, Sazed, and Kelsier. The plot itself is probably the best part, and it's what I remembered the most from before.","topicHash":"0447196ba9b8e4a587001ab0fbc2df00ada80f5c88d68891e15f032e45321e8a","topicName":"literature","parentHash":"da0dc3ba901298bb399d9a05f3531c9b513fbdc5507e8d589a83c86b41ea73b8","costSunk":"0","biasSupport":0,"biasOppose":0,"biasVouch":0,"biasNull":0,"blockHeight":null,"confirmations":0,"timestamp":"2026-11-01T03:08:26.557Z","tripFp":"6dfa2525377c","viewCount":0,"powDifficulty":0,"relation":0,"ephemeral":true,"nonce":"1af0dcb7294fd672","sig":"da2d2164b37889d3c6504fabcdc4b4a2a2ac28e52d816534a2913b59144e72a5b70d5b62b36f4605ba30ecb6c20827b5bf371c89589caea3867c7a55d8586945","ephStamp":{"blockHashHex":"00000000000000000001cb32d4f9e6662216d34ed82673662a2d71759a93e7de","nonceHex":"240c040000000000"},"replyCount":0,"chainReplyCount":0,"vaporReplyCount":0,"clusterSize":1,"receiptHeight":974069,"expiryHeight":976229,"authorMarks":{"since":"2026-11-01T01:08:54.861Z","via":"sight","inscribed":0,"likes":0,"biases":0},"lang":"en"}],"nextCursor":null,"pageReceipt":{"host":"6af58b1822e0cabfe57d76540f745d059b438f489a796ec6a705c6540233845e","t":"2026-11-08T19:44:08.680Z","sig":"85a8bfa679d008cc92b38dde94b9cfd10c95df7deb20ee83dae205c0a893f8cf3e5d5ac09fc93de423f13fce539ddff890d9ff15d637aac6da3dbc0d45d04d74"},"marks":{"since":"2026-11-01T01:08:54.861Z","via":"sight","inscribed":0,"likes":0,"biases":0}}
