I've been trying to use a new VN-style frontend/game and even at a copequant it barely works on my vramlet machine. Some of that is probably prompting inefficiencies on the game's part but it's so apparent how much dumber models are the smaller and more quantized they are. Unironically considering turning to brigandage. NVidia and Anthropic sitting on warehouses of unused GPUs isn't just a rumor, right? I'm curious, How does renting hardware to host models on compare in terms of cost and privacy to just being a cloudcuck?","topicHash":"913c62c2ee31793c7e8517600dbc8f0c337afae133700a128a7d8ffb8a21c93e","topicName":"technology","parentHash":"a6727ec0747ccf01429684a715c2f3595e2d7db9344f734ebfb737d8471a384e","costSunk":"0","biasSupport":0,"biasOppose":0,"biasVouch":0,"biasNull":0,"blockHeight":null,"confirmations":0,"timestamp":"2026-11-01T04:05:52.022Z","tripFp":"a1d6ef451cf7","viewCount":0,"powDifficulty":0,"relation":0,"ephemeral":true,"nonce":"9677aa047d58d5dd","sig":"6ab39ff2c91f498085b24f2a1be796d77aaea000779bc32079b5641bea62aebe414c4bd4edff84ccd3bfb44b34fa86bd9d10f97de457965fbe4ca5a76b2730b0","ephStamp":{"blockHashHex":"00000000000000000000dba42d3feaa2d2c314d5d8bf8426564d08c625fdccff","nonceHex":"e3d8010000000000"},"replyCount":1,"chainReplyCount":0,"vaporReplyCount":1,"clusterSize":2,"receiptHeight":974076,"expiryHeight":976236,"authorMarks":{"since":"2026-11-01T00:12:34.938Z","via":"sight","inscribed":0,"likes":0,"biases":0},"lang":"en"}],"nextCursor":null,"pageReceipt":{"host":"6af58b1822e0cabfe57d76540f745d059b438f489a796ec6a705c6540233845e","t":"2026-11-08T19:45:09.115Z","sig":"f9af171a56538babebf61875f820b65f3d8173742d5d5cdb9360b33fdf210d107bd3474173e0298d4f9840e2f0ed1a5529783a6774bbb01d0948de76a71327e6"},"marks":{"since":"2026-11-01T00:12:34.938Z","via":"sight","inscribed":0,"likes":0,"biases":0}}
