𓀐 @babSWqbF: Blind is wrong. It is 2 weeks per year of employment, unless you are at principal level, and then it is 4 weeks. So if you have eight years you would get 16 weeks salary. t. msft fte, my org did not offer+

Everyone is dooming on blind that they are just going to fire 60k if 60k don't take the buyout, but the buyout is a really shitty offer, way worse than a severance would be UNLESS you have been at the company for a long time. I think this is just a way to target old people without violating any laws, and they only expect 5k people to take it+

It's also insane how modern politicians like to put on a show of "muh manufacturing we need to bring it back" while repeating the exact same drain of our nation's wealth by letting the software industry freely flow out to India. Anyway, what tech domains aren't being massively outsourced? I'm in fintech right now and we've currently reached 99% jeet saturation.+
