𓀐 @=+NHd98Z: <KLAXON> AWOOGA AWOOGA </KLAXON> This is the Captain. ABANDON SHIP!! ABANDON SHIP!! I've started talking to Chat GPT about what I'm reading. In particular Limonov by Emmanuel Carrere. The conversation is so much better than anything I've had here. Plus the quality here has declined - just look at the threads. They're so bad. This place is going to die. There's only ONE good thread and it's about books never mentioned here. The WORST part is the number of threads from people who don't even seem to like literature - like WTF. IT"S OVER!! In case you need examples : 1. This novel is bullshit. Literally 100% bullshit from beginning to end.... 2. >That's a cool opinion abbot! However I have already homosexualized you as an effeminate pederast while depicting myself as the enlightened gigachad, therefore I win the argument. 3. This stupid fucking retard speedreads (150 pages an hour) 10 hours a day, thinks all philosophy is a waste of time, and still enjoys superhero comics. How are you structuring your reading to not end up like him? 4. Fiction is evil: It idealizes the world in a maladaptive way. And not even just the positive aspects of life but the negative ones too. Reality resists attempts at being assimilated into a narrative, and thus disappointment is the only thing that can follow. 5. This is supposed to be the greatest American writer but his work is formless and not especially refined. The vast majority of it is not read at all, and Moby Dick probably frustrates more readers than it stimulates. Is this 6. /lit/ I'm sorry.: I'm a fraud. I haven't read a single page in about a month. Yet I post frequently on this board. In my defense, I have been focusing on learning math... But that's no excuse! I've had plenty of time leftover every single day to read, and yet I have not done so. Therefore, you may etc....

What I dont understand is why they keep announcing it instead of just leaving for their llm psychosis.
