Age of rape feels to modern and to active? At least in my perspective usally the hushed euphemism hits harder. Like "winter of the merciless frost" sure sounds cool right ? But sometimes something like "spring of the silent cribs" hits harder. Everyone know that merciless frost killed people straight to the point. Silent cribs? What does that mean? Then it dawns on you. It's because there where no children born or surviving the winter. Like you call it that dark age. The struggles etc. Not by what happens. It could be something like the age of carnal betrayal or rotten bonds, base motives? Not sure I what I would chose.
