Bedroom has this wall light that uses a pull chain on the fixture and it's been broken for years, getting sick of using a lamp when this should be working properly. I'm considering a project to swap from pullchain to a light which uses a switch on the wall. I seen a couple videos on YouTube and it doesn't look impossible past sourcing the tools/supplies. Should I just talk myself off the ledge and get an electrician or could a retard do this (myself)?
