I was planning to comment on the stupidity of static types in (most) situations in the 2nd-to-last thread, but I figured it is a waste of time, because the same shit will be discussed in a week. Lisp is good. Common Lisp has great ideas regarding interactivity, and really BTFO everything else for a couple of decades. I think Clojure is better now. I think an even better lang could be devised. Idk if sexps are the ultimate syntax, PURELY because of accessibility concerns regarding indentation and the discernment of a literal list vs. a function call is not possible in a macro without context (this also makes code formatting difficult). idk what else to say... Lisp is great and most people here asking about it won't even spend an hour trying to solve an AoC problem, so what's the purpose?
