𓀐 @u*JZZiMo: If your backend is IO-bound(which is most of them) then you will get no significant advantage at cost of significant cognitive overhead if you use Rust over TypeScript. It only really makes sense to do this if for example you have already sizable Rust project and want to add simple front end to it(eg status page). If you want to try Rust, just pick something more aligned with systems programming. A compression or cryptographic library, renderer, cli utility, physics simulation, etc. Webdev in Rust in general is difficult (especially async) and too rigid for typical web tasks/workflows.+

𓀐 @UiZUBYWs: Depending if you trust Sonatype or StepSecurity, NPM accounts for 75-90% of EVERY supply chain attack. Of all the shit to lay at Rust's feet, supply chain attacks aren't it. Not yet, anyway.+
