+⧖I have read and analyzed some 500 romance novels in order to complete the other half of Campbell's work. The archetypes herein are encoded into the female brain by evolution and can be observed even in simple high school social dynamics. Understand this and you understand women. If any of this was actually true, you would have cited examples, and you'd present this in a place where you did not expect a choir of yesmen agreeing with you without demanding any evidence.

Reasonable, I also think that "read 500 romance novels" claim is quite farfetched. However, those themes are in fact quite common in smut and romance novels, there are many research papers that demonstrate this. For example, here's one about women rape fantasies, it also illuminates themes of "adversary transformation" i.e, molding barbaric men into things that fit the protagonist's needs. So he isn't entirely wrong either. >https://psycnet.apa.org/record/2008-05921-009
