I wanna buy something powerful for local AI that I can just have always on in the background. That plus I woudln't mind offloading a few services running on an old lenovo laptop to it. And maybe the occassional batch video re-encode. Thing is, I missed the train for the M4 mac mini and they're horrendously overpriced now on the 2nd-hand market. There's also the M6 which is similarly overpriced. I found a listing of a M2 Pro Mac Mini for an equivalent of $400~, should I go for it or is it too weak for what I want to do in today's climate?
